On Saturday, Mum and Dad went to Monarto Zoo for a 'lion encounter'. Mum got to feed Leroy the lion who apparently is the smaller of the lions (he looks huge to me). Mum got to hold the food up so he would jump up on the cage. This is when they normally do all the medical checks on the lion. At dinner time is when the lions get very vocal. Dad said it was awesome hearing such a roar come out of their mouth.
Well, apparently, both Mum and Dad had a lot of fun, not only feeding the lions but watching some other very active animals that night-zebras, tigers, etc.
